"Rumors" is a 1986 song by Bay Area based R&B/funk music group Timex Social Club from their debut album Vicious Rumors. The single was a hit in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, reaching number eight on the U.S. pop charts and number thirteen on the UK charts, in addition to topping the U.S. R&B and dance charts.[1] [2]
